My niece, Superior Court Judge Asha F. Jackson

This was one of the happiest and proudest days in years. Today we watched my niece Asha get sworn to the Bench as a Superior Court Judge in DeKalb County, Georgia. 

I was there for the moment in our family's history, was there with support and affection for Asha, but was also there to capture hundreds of snaps of the proceedings, from the swearing-in at the Capitol with Governor Deal to the reception later in the day in Decatur with Judge Michael Hancock (Ret.). And I did indeed take hundreds:
